KAREN JONES is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and started her career in radio in 1988 as WCGL’s receptionist and traffic coordinator. She currently serves as the Senior Executive and has over 18 years of stability with the station. Her formal sales training has come from renowned teachers such as Zig Ziglar, Tom Hopkins, Emily Timmons, the Florida Association Broadcast Political Sales, and others. Karen is a member of Philippians community Church, where Bishop Virgil C. Jones, Sr. is her pastor. Karen is married to Carlton Geraud, and is the proud mother of two adult daughters, Aketa and Cecilia, one toddler, Treasure Toi, and grandmother of one, Renato. She has received recognition for her hard work and dedication in sales. She gives all the thanks to God for her favor with pastors and business owners in Jacksonville and surrounding counties. When asked, Karen says one of her most memorable moments was her first promotion in 1989 at WCGL’s 10th Anniversary Expo.
